Francesca Romana Biocca was born in 1986 in Rome.

She started painting at the age of 16 and intensified her activity in 2014. She is a self-taught artist living and working between Rome and Milan.

With her abstract expressive style Francesca wants to reproduce colours, memories and images experienced during her trips and during her life, she puts attention to the dialogue between colours and lines. Positive vibes are the heart of Francesca’s works.

She intuitively applies oil or acrylic colours on different kinds of canvas with the idea of stirring multiple emotions in viewers. Francesca wants to create new and unpredictable cycles of thoughts and associations, providing an experimental chance to challenge one’s perceptions, perspectives and assumptions.
